During the 13th week of pregnancy, the fetal face becomes slightly rounder and takes on a more normal appearance. The eyes gather a little more in the center of the face and the ears also rise, although they are not yet in their original position.
The fetal head is still large compared to the rest of the body, and the two cerebral hemispheres begin to connect.
On the other hand, the fetal digestive system is highly developed, as the intestines close inside the abdominal cavity and the umbilical cord communicates through the umbilicus.
All the bones of the hands are already formed and fingerprints appear on all the fingers.
