The 16th week of pregnancy is the fourth month of gestation. It is one of the best times for the mother because she is already used to all the hormonal changes. Despite this, the mother-to-be will continue to experience changes and will notice some symptoms such as cramps, constipation, backaches, or a considerable enlargement of the uterus. In addition, there may be an increase in appetite, salivation (hypersialorrhea or ptyalism) or breast tenderness.
