Like the mother, babies are also changing throughout pregnancy as they develop.
The main changes in the baby that characterise the 29th week of pregnancy are as follows:
- Gum formation.
- Opening of the eyelids and movement of the eyes, although they cannot see.
- Stiffening of the skeleton.
- Testicular descent.
- Pink colouring of the skin.
In addition to these changes, the amount of vernix increases and the development of the immune system continues.
