Non-surgical treatment for Rokitansky syndrome

It is difficult to find a solution or cure for women born with Rokitansky syndrome. However, procedures have performed for the reconstruction of some areas, such as the vagina.

The most commonly used treatment that does not require surgery for the formation of a vagina is the application of Frank's dilators. These consist of several dilators of different sizes that are used daily to apply pressure and gradually enlarge the vagina to a size of about 8-10 cm.

This allows the woman to have sexual intercourse without discomfort and as normal a lifestyle as possible.
