The advanced semen analysis or seminogram consists of separating the motile from the immotile spermatozoa and the seminal plasma. In this way, the concentration of good quality spermatozoa in the capacitated semen sample is obtained or, what is the same, the count of progressive motile spermatozoa.
Based on the value gathered, it is possible to decide the most appropriate assisted reproduction technique to achieve a pregnancy that is based on the male factor.
