Age at andropause and testosterone level

Andropause differs from female menopause in that there is no loss of fertility, only a decrease in fertility. This is due to the progressive decrease of the hormone testosterone after the age of 30. Here there are still no signs and symptoms of andropause, but by the age of 50, half of all men are already affected.

Once men reach the age of 70, most of them will have low testosterone levels.
