The most common type of artificial insemination in fertility clinics is intrauterine insemination (IUI), which involves placing the sperms directly into the uterus of the intended mother. However, there exist other types of AI depending on the location of the sperm, such as intratubal insemination (ITI), in which sperm are placed in the Fallopian tubes so that they fertilize the egg cell.
