Depending on the place where the sperm are deposited in the female reproductive system, we can distinguish several types of artificial insemination (AI):
- Intratubal.
- Intracervical.
- Intravaginal.
- Intrafollicular.
- Intrauterine.
In any case, the most widely used artificial insemination technique at present is, without a doubt, intrauterine artificial insemination.
