Artificial insemination (AI) is a low-complexity, low-cost assisted reproduction technique. However, when donor sperm is used for artificial insemination, its price rises due to the need to pay the expenses generated for the donor himself.
Normally, the price of IUI with donor sperm ranges between $1,000 and $1,700, although there may be differences depending on the fertility clinic where it is performed and the services included. In addition, the hormonal medication necessary for ovarian stimulation is not usually included in the budget, which means an increase in the price of the treatment of around $600-$1000 depending on the doses required by each woman.
