Myasthenia gravis is a neuromuscular autoimmune disease characterized by an attack on the neuromuscular junctions of the muscles. Therefore, one of its most prominent associated symptoms is drooping of the eyelids. In addition, muscle weakness and double vision are also common manifestations in people diagnosed with myasthenia gravis.
