Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an autoimmune disease that can have negative consequences in pregnancy. This syndrome is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage, premature delivery, hypertension and intrauterine growth retardation.
For this reason, women diagnosed with FAS should plan their pregnancy correctly to avoid endangering both their health and that of their unborn child.
