The labor and birth plan is a document that allows the pregnant woman to express her preferences in writing prior to delivery. In this way, it serves as a guide so that the specialists who will attend the woman during labor and delivery of her baby can do so according to her wishes.
However, the woman may modify or even partially or totally revoke this document as events unfold on the day of delivery.
