Women diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis can become pregnant without any problems. Nonetheless, it is highly likely that certain medications should be stopped before pregnancy, because these medicines can cause fetal abnormalities.
In addition, women with rheumatoid arthritis have a higher probability of giving birth by cesarean section, and low birth weight.
