When a woman suspects a disease or in the routine gynecological examinations some strange aspect is detected, the doctor will request the suitable tests to arrive at a definitive diagnosis.
In the case of cervical cancer, the most common diagnostic tests are curettage, colposcopy, pap smear and imaging studies. Sometimes, to complement the diagnosis and be sure of it, the doctor will request tests for the study of the bladder and rectum.
