The color and consistency of the cervical mucus allows us to know the moment of the menstrual cycle in which the woman is, since it undergoes changes according to the phase of the cycle in which it is.
During ovulation and the days around ovulation, the cervical mucus is more abundant, elastic and watery. In addition, the cervical mucus of the ovulatory period allows the passage of sperm through the female reproductive tract so that fertilization can take place.
