Decrease in estrogen levels with age

In women, the time of their life that marks the fertile period is delimited by the presence of menstruation.

The curve of estrogen levels that marks a woman's fertile life increases from menarche (first menstruation). Over time, as a woman matures sexually, estrogen levels increase until they reach their highest peaks during the most fertile time.

As women become more mature, they approach the climacteric period. This is a time of senescence where sex hormones and fertility will decline until the woman reaches menopause. With the arrival of menopause, estrogen levels and menstruation will have disappeared, giving rise to a series of side effects in women, such as hot flashes and hormonal imbalances that cause discomfort. These symptoms can be solved by administering estrogenic supplements that help women to make this stage of their lives more bearable.
