Some specialists recommend gymnastics for pregnant women in order to alleviate the discomfort of pregnancy, but also to teach pain control at the moment of delivery through various relaxation and breathing techniques.
Among the physical activities that are recommended during pregnancy to prepare for childbirth are: swimming, aquagym, yoga, pilates and stretching. In addition, belly dancing could be practiced as it strengthens the pelvic floor muscles.
