When a patient or couple obtains a negative pregnancy result, they begin to think about the possible cause. However, specialists recommend not to torture themselves with this since there are different reasons. In addition, it is important to know that achieving a gestation in the first attempt of a fertility treatment is complicated, just as it occurs naturally.
For example, a diagnosis of incomplete infertility, poor quality of gametes, low quality of embryos, genetic alterations or uterine malformations are some of the reasons that could explain a reproductive failure.
