Complementary techniques in IVF

When performing an in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment, there are complementary techniques that serve to optimize the process and achieve a higher success rate. Some of these techniques are the prolonged embryo culture up to the blastocyst stage, the sperm selection for fertilization or assisted hatching to facilitate the exit of the embryo from the zona pellucida.
