Being an egg donor in Spain

According to the Spanish Assisted Human Reproduction Act, the following are the basic requirements for a woman to become an egg donor:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Physical and mental health
  • Maximum of 6 children born from the same donor
  • Free from genetic or infectious diseases

Moreover, egg donation is completely anonymous in Spain.
