Endometriosis is a progressive disease that can affect female fertility. In addition, the passage of time and age also diminish a woman's fertility.
This is why a patient diagnosed with mild or moderate endometriosis and who does not wish to become pregnant at that time, can preserve fertility by means of egg vitrification. In this way, the eggs will be available to seek pregnancy in the future through assisted reproduction, even if fertility has been reduced due to age or because the endometriosis has worsened over time.
