When the gynecologist performs a pelvic examination of a woman suspected of having endometriosis, he may find certain signs that are associated with this pathology. These include pain on palpation, the presence of masses in the tubes and ovaries or the appearance of nodules at the bottom of the vagina.
However, these signs are not exclusive to endometriosis. For this reason, the identification of some of them would not allow a definitive and reliable diagnosis of endometriosis to be made.
