The diagnosis of endometriosis can be challenging depending on the location of the implants.
Based on the severity of the symptoms, the location of the implants and their size, it can be diagnosed using the following methods:
- An ultrasound scan
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- Laparoscopy
- Biomarker testing
