Signs of chronic endometritis

The symptoms of acute endometritis may vary according to the type of endometritis, that is, depending on whether it is acute or chronic endometritis. If we focus on chronic endometritis, it should be noted that most of the time it is asymptomatic, although some women describe mild symptoms such as:

  • Pain in the pelvic area and abdominal swelling.
  • Abnormal bleeding.
  • Leucorrhea.

In addition, chronic endom etritis is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage and implantation failure. Therefore, endometritis can be a cause of female infertility.
