Gynecological laparoscopy consists of inserting a laparoscope through a small incision in the navel. This test can have a diagnostic or surgical purpose as treatment.
Surgical laparoscopy is indicated to treat gynecological disorders such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy or removal of the uterus. In all these cases, the woman must have undergone a clear and reliable diagnosis previously.
