Prior to the embryo transfer, the endometrium must be between 7 and 10 mm thick to facilitate the embryo's implantation. By means of estrogen treatment, both in patches and orally, the endometrium is thickened and ready for the embryo implantation. After this, it will be necessary to apply progesterone.
