Do I need IVF after 10 months of trying for a natural pregnancy without success?

By Guillermo Quea Campos M.D. (gynecologist).
Last Update: 09/26/2022

We must consider that the best definition, or the one we should use, is that of fertility, which refers to the capacity of a couple to conceive month after month and that, in our case, is only 20%.

Therefore, to achieve pregnancy after 10 months of trying will be determined fundamentally by the woman's age and, if necessary she will be recommended to attend an Assisted Reproduction Unit to perform the necessary studies and confirm if there is any condition that is impeding the gestation.
