Among the assisted reproduction treatments is the transfer of vitrified or devitrified embryos, which we can perform in a natural cycle (without medication) or in a substituted cycle (with medication).
Usually, we prefer to perform these transfers in substituted cycles, since we can better manage the dates of endometrial growth control, thawing and embryo transfer.

For this, we start the endometrial preparation with the use of Estradiol Valerate at a dose of 6 mg/day, divided in two or three doses per day according to the pharmacological presentation of the medication, having in the market different options according to the laboratory that produces it and the experience of each professional with the use of each one of them.
This dose of medication is maintained during the whole cycle with the purpose of having an adequate growth, size and estrogenic levels. However, as we have mentioned above, the daily dose can be divided into two or three doses and, if two tablets are taken together by mistake, it does not affect the development of the cycle.
