Hypothyroidism is an alteration of the endocrine system in which not enough thyroid hormones, important for the regulation of multiple functions in the body, are produced.
The symptoms that can appear as a consequence of this are the following: weight gain, goiter, cold sensation, dry skin, constipation, etc.
