The pathologies or alterations of the cervix can be solved with the appropriate treatment depending on the type of abnormality.
Alterations related to cervical mucus are usually treated with antibiotics, in case of infection, or with other estrogen-based hormonal drugs. When the alteration of the cervix is structural, surgical intervention will be necessary to repair the problem.
Finally, if it has not been possible to correct the alterations of the cervix, the woman can undergo artificial insemination in order to become pregnant.
