freezing-testicular-tissue

Freezing tissue removed from the testicle may be a technique for preserving male fertility. However, this is an experimental procedure, so its safety and effectiveness have not yet been proven. This method of preservation would be indicated for young men who have not reached puberty and therefore cannot freeze their semen.

The process for freezing testicular tissue consists of extracting small fragments of the testicle, which will be stored frozen in liquid nitrogen.
