Thanks to the fertility preservation technique, patients can store their gametes (sperm and eggs) for future use. Fertility preservation preserves the quality of the gametes at the time they are stored.
This is why this technique is indicated for cancer patients before undergoing treatment. In addition, if you wish to delay the moment of having a baby, fertility preservation is also indicated.
