tanayadasI had a miscarriage of 5weeks 4weeks 5days ago. I needed to do 2round of D&C and One round of Misprostol. Beta Hcg level as of 11/12/2017 is 52mIu/Ml. I took Misoprostol 2 weeks ago due to Retained product of conception. Endometrial Thickness as on 25/11/2017 is 11mm. Since last two days i am having Abdomen pain and Bleeding. I feel this is more like Menstruation Bleed than effect of misoprostol because my bleeding almost stopped for 5 days. Can a menstruation occur while the presence of Beta Hcg in blood?

I went for a USG. It shows echogenic material in lower endometrial cavity with vascular strands. I can’t understand if the echogenic material is retained product of conception or normal menstruation bleeding clots.

Yes, the presence of echogenic material indicates retained placenta and is a common indicator that retained products of conception (RPOC) are still present in your system. It is unlikely that it’s your period, due to the presence of hCG still in your blood.
As for the bleeding, it is a normal symptom after an abortion with Misoprostol.
In any case, ask your doctor for further advice to find out how to proceed now.
