What happens 8 days after embryo transfer?

Hi this is my first ET, on day 7 I started to get a little pink blood which I read is to be expected but now on day 8 and the bleeding has become more dark and slightly heavier, I have been told to carry on with my pessaries but feeling a little unsure on what’s happening, am I still in the implant bleeding stage?? Or does it sound more like I’m coming on my period?? As I am due on tomorrow ?

The symptom you’ve described is considered a normal one after embryo transfer and it’s most likely related to the medications you’ve been taking. It may be due to implantation bleeding or to your period, yes. The only accurate way to clear any doubt is by doing a pregnancy test, which should be done on day 15 approximately.
