Hello,
I have a family history of premature ovarian failure (both my aunt and my mom at ages 34 and 35 respectively). It’s becoming increasingly worrying because I’m considering becoming a mom now. And, by coincidence, I did my regular hormone analysis on September, 14, because I have my gynecological check-up next week. I give you the results of the test:
Progesterone: 0.8
Prolactin: 10.3
FSH 4.60
17β-estradiol: 43
LH 1.70
TSH: 2.85
Free t4: 0.93
Free t3: 2.94The lab specialist told me such values may be an indicator of POF, since they are a bit low. What is your opinion? BTW, I use NuvaRing for what it is worth.
S.O.S.!!!!

In light of the results of your hormone analysis, I can say there is no reason to worry because every parameter is within its normal levels.
However, even if this analysis is not an indicator of POF, I recommend that you continue to take hormone analysis once a year to monitor how hormonal variations develop (in case there is any).
Best regards.
