Hi all,
hubby and I are seeing a fertility specialist and they suggested IVF since I’m diagnosed with premature ovarian failure and can’t conceive naturally.
I have studied their services among which there is this Geri incubator. I’m now unsure if we should use as many complementary techniques as possible to make sure that we will get pregnant 100%. They also offer assisted hatching and time-lapse and what not. Our doctor didn’t mention any of these but I don’t know, maybe we should ask to get them.
What do you think?

It’s absolutely understandable that you’re confused and overwhelmed by this amount of techniques available in ART.
What you should know is that embryo culture in incubators with time-lapse technology, as is the case with Geri, allows for better embryo selection. This leads to an increase in the rate of embryo implantation and, therefore, a greater probability of pregnancy. This method of culture is recommended for any IVF patient due to the benefits it offers, although it is true that it is especially recommended in cases of implantation failure, recurrent miscarriages, etc.
If you’re interested in learning more about this technologies, it’s indication and benefits, I recommend you the following posts: What Are the Benefits of the Geri Time-Lapse Incubator in IVF? and What Does Assisted Hatching (AHA) Mean?
