We’re a gay couple from Colorado and looking for surrogacy. Does anyone here know about Conceptions Reproductive Associates of Colorado? What can you tell me about your experience? How will the process work?
Any kind of information would be appreciated!
10/01/2020 at 4:58 pmHi Simon,
Gestational surrogacy is a fertility procedure that allows all family types to become parents.
Since you are a gay couple and no one of you can’t contribute with your own eggs, there are two other parties involved- the gestational carrier who will carry the pregnancy to term and an egg donor who will provide her eggs for the gestational carrier’s embryo transfer. Her eggs had previously been retrieved by means of follicular puncture and then fertilized with the semen of one of you or, if necessary, a sperm donor.
The resulting embryo will then be transferred into the gestational carrier’s uterus waiting for the embryo to implant and give rise to a pregnancy. Read about the whole process here: What’s Gestational Surrogacy with Egg Donation? – Cost & Success.
I also invite you to have a look at the Profile of Conceptions Reproductive Associates of Colorado for more information about their services, costs, success rates and more.
Hope this helps,
All the best.

I am a former patient at this clinic. I don’t know how surrogacy works though, but I can’t say anything negative about my experience. I was diagnosed with anovulatory cycles and PCOS and it took me two rounds until I got pregnant. Also, my insurance company covered some of the costs so it wasn’t that expensive either.
Then again, I don’t know how it will look like for you guys but I think you’ll be in good hands there.
Keep us posted!!
