Hi, I’ve been told if you drink plenty of water before the embryo transfer you can increase your chances of embryo implantation because it makes your endometrial tissue being more hydrated, and that helps embryo implantation. How true is it? Pls, I’d do anything to get pregnant!!

Drinking the recommended daily allowance of water is beneficial to avoid cellular dehydration, which in turn helps your cells work better in general, including endometrial cells.
However, the main reason why women are advised to drink plenty of water before the embryo transfer is to have a full bladder, so that it can put pressure on the uterus. Such pressure changes its orientation, something that makes it easier for the specialist to see it through ultrasound scan, and besides it allows the passage of the cannula through your cervix easily.

I hope I have been able to help,
Best wishes
