    hello,
i just heard that the hormone hcg starts to be produced as soon as you conceive, but my question is when it actually happens?
a friend told me that you start getting preggo symptoms as hcg increases its levels in your body. i’m ttc and this month i haven’t felt anything, i think it might be still to early… that’s why i still don’t have symptoms maybe?
    pls help
    xx

  2. Dear justine88,

Embryo implantation typically occurs around 6 to 8 days after fertilization (conception). Once embryo implantation takes place, the body starts releasing hCG rapidly. If everything goes as expected, it doubles its levels every 48 hours. However, you should keep in mind that not every woman gets pregnancy symptoms so early, or during the entire 1st month of pregnancy.
