More and more specialists are advising the transfer of a single embryo to avoid the risks associated with multiple pregnancies. However, it is possible for patients to obtain more embryos, so they can be vitrified for future use.
In this way, the embryos are stored in nitrogen tanks at -196º for an unlimited time without altering their quality. Thus, when patients decide to make another transfer, they will be devitrified.
