Comparison of traditional and Time-Lapse Geri embryo culture

The Geri incubator has Time-Lapse technology which allows the monitoring of the embryos at all times, unlike traditional incubators.

Before the Time-Lapse, the embryos were taken out of the incubators on day 1, day 3 and day 5 of development to visualize their morphological characteristics. However, when the embryos are cultivated in the Geri, it is not necessary to take them out by altering their cultivation conditions. Quite the contrary. This system takes photographs every 5 minutes and forms a final video of the embryonic development.
