Donor eggs are usually of good quality, so IVF with ovodonation has a high success rate. Specifically, the probability of pregnancy in the first egg donation attempt is 60%, although this percentage rises to 90% in second cycles.
It is important to note that the probability of pregnancy is slightly reduced when IVF is performed with frozen donor eggs. However, this drop in the success rate is not pronounced due to the high effectiveness of the vitrification technique.
