More and more fertility centers are choosing to transfer a single embryo in order to avoid a possible multiple pregnancy and the risks that this entails. In addition, if a single good quality embryo is transferred, the probability of an unsuccessful transfer also increases.
In any case, deciding the number of embryos to transfer must be evaluated according to the particular situation of each patient.
