To become an egg donor, a woman must meet a series of requirements set out in Law 14/2006 on Assisted Human Reproduction Techniques.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Having a regular menstrual cycle
- Not be adopted
- Do not have genetic or hereditary diseases
- Not having had more than 6 children of their own or as a result of the donation
