Hyperthyroidism is a thyroid disorder caused by excessive production of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland. Some of the most common symptoms associated with hyperthyroidism are:
- Weight loss.
- Tachycardia.
- Alterations in the menstrual cycle.
- Tremors in the hands.
- Excessive sweating.
- Bulging eyes or exophthalmos.
