IERA-GC

Description

IERA-GC are the Spanish initials for Extremaduran Institute of Assisted Reproductive Technology González Carrera.

IERA-GC has been a pioneer in the implementation of IVF in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain.

Thanks to IERA-GC, the first baby from IVF was born on year 2000 and the first from testicular biopsy two years later.

IERA-GC performs techniques such as artificial insemination (AI) or intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

The Extremaduran Institute has a egg bank available for women who are unable to conceive in a natural way.
