In vitro fertilization (IVF) has certain disadvantages, such as having to undergo follicular puncture. However, several advantages of IVF can also be listed:
- Success rates are high.
- It allows pregnancy to be achieved when semen quality is poor.
- It is possible to perform IVF with donated gametes.
In addition, it can be said that the side effects of IVF treatment are not serious.
