Interesting data can be drawn from the 2018 Fertility Survey, published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE). One of these data is that 52% of women between 30-34 years old in Spain have not yet become mothers.
The consequence of delaying motherhood at an advanced age (over 35) are problems when seeking a pregnancy, since female fertility decreases with age. Therefore, these patients may require assisted reproduction techniques to fulfill their desire to become pregnant.
