Female infertility is increasing in recent years due to the tendency to delay motherhood. It is very common for women to decide to postpone becoming pregnant until they have a certain degree of job, economic and sentimental stability.
However, female fertility decreases with the passage of time. From the age of 35 onwards, a woman's reproductive capacity begins to decrease, and this decrease is more pronounced from the age of 40 onwards. Thus, when a woman considers motherhood at an advanced age, she may have fertility problems and may need assisted reproduction techniques.
