Some of the causes that prevent semen or sperm from leaving an ejaculate and, therefore, make it difficult to achieve a natural pregnancy are the following:
- Infection in the glands or seminal ducts: epididymis, prostate, urethra, etc.
- Erectile dysfunction or sexual impotence
- Retrograde ejaculation
